Why does anybody believe anything David Icke says when he repeats shit like this?

Dear David Icke,

It has long since been said that you contaminate the truth about the evil and corruption in the world with idiotic nonsense thus discrediting everything. If somebody was to shit diarrhoea in the cake display, nobody would touch even the delicacies in boxes at the farthest edge. And that, mate, is what you do; like it or not. You could have or could still choose not to but you persist in doing it with the kind of arrogance which only makes you and your followers look even more pathetic.

And over the years you have made many patently false claims, some of which you swept away after they were exposed, some you never let go. You like to tell everybody that you said this, that or the other twenty five years ago when, in fact, you were repeating allegations made by somebody else and trying to take the credit. Or you may claim to have brought something to the world's attention when in fact it is a blatent lie such as your claim to have exposed Jimmy Savile when there is not a shred of evidence that you mentioned him in relation to any of his depravity until after his death - not unlike the mainstream media you claim to oppose.

But here's a joke from yesterday's David Icke headlines page which I was going to ignore but which is like an itch no amount of scratching will rid:

So Who Knew What? – Banned BBC Not The Nine O’Clock News Sketch (1979-1982)

What the fuck are you talking about, Icke? Banned? Where did you find that this video was banned? I realise that journalists of your calibre like to keep their sources confidential but perhaps you can simply point the reader to any evidence whatsoever that it is banned at all.

You often go on about repeaters but you are as much a repeater as anybody. You posted this story without so much as even asking yourself if its claim was true.

You are full of shit.

The Death of Michael C Ruppert

Michael C Ruppert died from a gunshot wound to the head on 13th April. Without speculating, it clearly looked like suicide.

I have followed Mike Ruppert's work for at least a decade and whilst I may have had certain reservations about some of his thoughts and conclusions, I tended to agree with him on most things but this is not the time or place for pedantic analysis.

I listened to his last broadcast of The Lifeboat Hour, after I heard he had died - recorded very shortly beforehand, looking for something to indicate his state of mind - not out of some need to prove that he had met the same fate as Gary Webb because he wasn't suicidal, rather because I know from my own experience how well practised one can be at projecting an image of normality to the world whilst internally falling apart or imagining self-annihilation. There was nothing, except perhaps in the nuance of the lyrics of a song he played (Calling All Angels by Jane Siberry and k d lang) which indicated he was about to end his life. Indeed, he signed off with the clearest intention of being back the following week.

Like many, I sought confirmation of the unbelievable truth of what I had heard and there was little apart from forum speculation to go on. There were just two news websites which reported Mike Ruppert's death:

www.ballerstatus.com/2014/04/15/conspiracy-theorist-michael-c-ruppert-commits-suicide

www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/04/15/911-truther-mike-ruppert-kills-himself-after-finishing-his-radio-show

I am not so naive that I would expect it to be international news but I was surprised how difficult it was to find information, even his Wikipedia page kept changing from one minute to the next.

But whilst I can reconcile myself to the news not permeating into the mainstream, I cannot really accept that it has been ignored by others who purport to have the same or similar goals and who have trodden the same path. Most notably, there was not (and currently, is not) a single word about Mike Ruppert's death on infowars.com or any other of Alex Jone's websites. It's no secret that Ruppert and Jones did not get on and had traded acerbic comments but anybody who has followed the unfolding of the 9/11 myth from the outset will know that they were both amongst the very few who spoke out from the beginning. Jones' failure to acknowledge Mike Ruppert's death is a further indication of what a disrespectful gristle head Alex Jones really is.

Elsewhere, it was eventually reported (three days later) on David Icke's ironically titled Headlines page (often stories are years out of date) but rather than linking to one of the two sites which broke the story, David Icke resorted to his Daily Mail fetish and linked to a shoddy little scribble flanked by celebrity tittle-tattle and upskirt photos.

Please ignore these sweaty wealth seeking egos and watch this personal and emotional tribute from RT's Abby Martin.

David Icke Forum has virtually died in the wake of The People's Voice debacle

There was a very short lived rumour a couple of days ago - it lasted all of about five minutes - that David Icke had quit The People's voice live on air in a kind of homage-cum-parody of Liz Wahl's dramatic outing as an American agent on Russia Today. The problem was that nobody could confirm or deny the rumour because nobody was watching and ultimately, noboday gave a shit.

But it prompted me to look in at the once souk like David Icke Forum to see if there was any hint of truth in what had been posted as a totally off-topic comment on this blog post:

http://earthlinggb.wordpress.com/2014/03/26/jeremy-clarkson-blackmails-piers-morgan-publicly/

I could almost hear the tumble weed. In the Today's News section, which used to be abuzz with discussion, argument and speculation, was populated by only a handful of posts made within the previous 24 hours.

So, what happened? Well, it's very unlikely that this decline happened in the aftermath of The People's Voice fiasco is a co-incidence. There were a lot of people who became disillusioned or had their fingers burned by David Icke and Sean Adl-Tabatabai's venture. But it was also a bit of an online pogrom - those who did not evacuate voluntarily were subjected to mass censorship and swathing bans. Those who remain active are very likely the David Icke inner circle, the sycophants the feeble minded.

Yet, David Icke chants the mantra that The People's Voice figures are rising despite adversity in his latest round of fleacing.

The great man has booked Wembley Arena again for this coming October - he might be as well to check the availability of a nearby phone box.

David Icke - You are so full of shit you don't know what shit smells like

I all but abandoned this blog because frankly, I have better things to do with my life than swat the flies on David Icke's bullshit but sometimes I just can't help myself. Like giving up smoking and having a cigarette after one too many beers, I'll probably regret it in the morning.

But seriously. Fucking seriously!

Having failed to keep a functioning television station running despite having raised over four times what he said he needed (he originally asked for £100k, got £300k and then got another £100k in another campaign), David Icke is asking his disciples for £250k to 'take The People's Voice to the next level'.

Considering that The People's Voice is currently dead in the water, what does Mr Icke mean by 'the next level'? Stretchered into a life raft?

But, hey, there is good news, guys! Because according to the David Icke Headlines page:

*Please note: Viewing figures show that The People’s Voice is gathering pace and popularity all the time – despite all the challenges.

Latest figures electronically recorded with 100% accuracy show that the TPV to-air screen had nearly 1.6 million views last month with this month promising to surpass that.

Taking all views together, the to-air page, YouTube and other sources The People’s Voice has so far had more than six million views since the station went to air only in late November.

The potential is fantastic, especially if we can gain access to two satellites which is now a strong possibility if we get the support.

Support TPV – the dream has only just begun.

Blimey! So, since the station effectively went off air and started showing only pregurgitated* shows, the viewing figures have increased by a staggering factor.

Why might this be? Well, the answer might lie in the fact that there is a TPV viewer embedded on every page on David Icke's website so whether you like it or not, as soon as you open a page on his site, you become a viewer. And if you are on a device with a data quota, you can loiter on that page indefinitely oblivious to the fact that your data quota is squirting away, largely because the sound on the TPV viewer is muted by default, so once you have started to scroll down the page, you will no longer be aware that the viewer is stealing your limited bandwidth.

David Icke, you have been known internationally as an unhinged conspiracy theorist, giving genuine conspiracy researchers a bad name but really, you are a phony. More recently, it has become clear that you are a con man and now you are visibly an absolute liar who screws people out of their internet usage in order to massage your viewing figures and ego.

You are a fucking despicable turd.

Censorship: Suppressive Powers for the Masses

I think everybody who isn't fascinated by the arrest of Justin Bieber will be aware that the mainstream media manipulates the news and, more subtly, its coverage of the news to suit its agenda or that which it has been assigned. It's so obvious and well documented, it is almost a waste of a paragraph to even mention it but it has to be reiterated in order to make a point which is in danger of becoming as much of a truism because whilst it is unacceptable that the mainstream news media effectively lie (omission is a form of censorship and deception ergo a lie), it is accepted that they do. It is, by virtue of their stated remit, even less acceptable for the so-called alternative media to censor especially when they openly market themselves as an antedote to the homogenous diet of information which people are fed daily. It's common knowledge that Alex Jones will not tolerate any criticism of Israel. Indymedia, who are ostensibly diametrically opposed to Infowars also avoid, as much as possible, the Israel thing (except when it involves Palestinians) and comb out any posts which mention 9/11 (except when it endorses Keane and Hamilton), Freemasons, chemtrails or a multitude of other subjects which, for its own purposes, it deems inappropriate.

But what about our latest alternative outlet? A voice for the voiceless. Be part of the heard not the herd.

Well, that's all well and good but what if the voice does not agree with you? What if the mind behind the voice actually thinks you are not quite as virtuous as you make out? There is always censorship but that would not look too good, would it. It goes on within the alternative media and it subsidiaries and everybody knows about it but it is forbidden to mention it - that will result in further censorship. In not so extreme cases, this could lead to banning or, as mentioned previously, what one forum euphemistically calls, 'inactive' which suggests that the user has elected not to say anything for a while. Not unlike a police officer looking down upon a bloody beaten prisoner tied to a chair with gaffer tape over his mouth and saying, 'he's gone a bit quite'. It's the same fucking game, Sean. You are no different.

But what is (only slightly) more surprising is how easily the rest of the flock come around to that way of thinking - just like the liberal Obama supporters who overnight saw the merit and positive ethical aspects of drone strikes on foreign civilians.

Today, we have one David Icke forum member, 3point5 saying, 'I help run a pretty popular Facebook page. We kept having one or two members that were causing grief on the Facebook page. You know what we did? We blocked them. It solved the problem instantly, and it meant we didn't drag our own name through the mud by arguing with them publicly.'

Whilst forum moderator, scottishryan responds, 'You are completely correct, I find blocking out such disturbances works the best. I personally had to do it in my Youtube Channel too, there is a line that can be crossed when this is the best first option to take.'

Yeah, fucking hypocrites, right? That's what they are all saying on the forum at sanctumzone.co.uk - all the refugees from David Icke's forum who are disenchanted, suspended or ...er inactive have gathered at one of the relatively new so-called alternative (to) David Icke forums. All those self-congratulatory folk, not unlike the Obama types, who think they have found a life raft in the turbulent sea of censorship. Except that they haven't because sanctumzone.co.uk is guilty of censorship like the two previously mentioned strata of deception; whether intentionally or by neglect. Having experienced the digital Heath-Robinson of the sanctumzone.co.uk forum, I am willing to accept the possibility that there is some technical explanation for what I have witnessed but until I have received an explanation from whoever is responsible for the site's administration, I am going to assume the inevitable. And I am willing to wager that all the other alternative Icke sites are equally flawed in their ethics.

What is certain is that there is no such thing as free speech anywhere on the internet where there are people with administrative privileges acting as gatekeepers. I tried it once - the only posts I deleted were blatant spam with links to whatever was being flogged at the time. Ironically, one or two of the members didn't like free speech and at least one of them has spent the past eight or nine years bad mouthing me for all manner of ridiculous ills conjured up by their paranoid delusions. S/he is a moron. I could name them but why throw fireworks on the fire? Self-censorship? Maybe but I believe in the words of Henry Delaune, 'Think all you speak but speak not all you think;' and I assure you, some people don't know how grateful they might be for that. Unfortunately, in this digital world everybody who is counter-inclined has the indiscriminate power of a flamethrower.

Hypocrite Considers Throwing Persistent Internet Pirates in Jail [sic]

OK, so, it's only two days since I publicly announced that I was bored with it all but I wasn't expecting David Icke to throw me an irrisistable meaty chunk like this.

Anybody with any interest in free speech and who has observed the Stalinist censorship on David Icke's forum will know that any mention of certain words or phrases relating to BitTorrent will be redacted with a nice row of asterisks and links to torrent sites will consquently have thir URLs broken. The reason for this is supposed to be because it is illegal to mention BitTorrent or link to torrent sites, according to clueless Technical Adviser, 'i_am'. As pointed out previously here, that would put many major websites such as The Guardian, BBC, Wikipedia, Google and thousands of others on the wrong side of the law. The real reason, as is pretty evident when one has frequented some of the torrent sites in question, is that David Icke, via his sidekick, Sean Adl Tabatabai, has threatened those sites with legal action unless torrent of his 'message' are removed.

Before we go on to today's little gem, perhaps we should explore this facet of David Icke's persona for a moment. He proselytises that people should see through materialism because it is all an illusion, he never ceases preaching about how tirelessly he works to get 'material' out and at a very famous turning point in his life, claimed to be a son of the godhead.

Without wishing to make a direct comparison, just suppose that Jesus returned. Would it be reasonable of him to threaten people with legal action for sharing the message which he was so interested in spreading? However, that is what David Icke, who is regarded by many on his forum as a saviour, does, and does so to protect the income he makes from the sales of hard copies of his material. And he is quite happy for people with very little money to forego paying their rent in order to line his pockets. This is a man who quotes Gandhi and borrowed the words of Jesus for the title of one of his books, '...and the truth shall set you free'. Unfortunately, his disciples cannot see the truth of utter hypocrisy at every level of this man. Many have given money they can ill-afford to do without in order to fuel the latest vehicle for his ego in the belief that he will save them. They are stretching their cognitive dissonance to its limit yet still yearn to find another last penny to donate. But that's just the back end. Anybody with any objective detached reasoning can see what a phony, David Icke is, his integrity has the breaking strain of a Kit-Kat.

Professing that everything, including money, is an illusion whilst charging people to read and hear what you have to say on the matter shows about as much faith in one's own words as the Pope riding around in a bullet-proof Popemobile [nod to Bill Hicks] or the Church of England insuring its buildings against acts of God.

Bullshit!

Anyway, on today's David Icke headlines page, I saw this:

UK Considers Throwing Persistent Internet Pirates in Jail [sic]

‘During a debate on the UK’s Intellectual Property Bill, the Prime Minister’s Intellectual Property Adviser has again called for a tougher approach to online file-sharing. In addition to recommending “withdrawing Internet rights from lawbreakers”, Mike Weatherley MP significantly raised the bar by stating that the government must now consider “some sort of custodial sentence for persistent offenders.” Google also got a bashing – again.’

Which in turn, links to this on Torrent Freak:

UK Considers Throwing Persistent Internet Pirates in Jail [sic]

It may not be immediately apparent but here we see yet another dimension to David Icke's hypocrisy. He appears to be giving a display of support for internet freedom whilst taking his own stand against filesharers. But, not only that, he has posted a link to a site which is forbidden on his website forum. I wonder how 'sean', 'i_am', 'ex sheep' and 'zhiba' will explain the asterisks should anybody attempt to share David Icke's headline story on the forum.

I doubt that any of David Icke's lieutenants ever visit here but if they do and read this far, you are lost so far up your master's arsehole, you cannot tell shit from Sugar Puffs.

TPV Team Latest: The Saga Which Writes Itself

When I was a kid, there was an advert for canned mushrooms the strap line to which was, 'you have to get up early to pick mushrooms a fresh as Chesswood'. It was strange that that advert came back to me as I was browsing the David Icke Forum at 11.00am but as I read one thread with no replies entitled, 'Another Volunteer Leaves TPV', I started to read it and due to its content became curious what other forum members thought even before I had finished, so I refreshed the page. There were a couple of comments. The thread linked to a blog article and I decided to continue reading on the blog itself. It was not particularly short so when I returned to the browser tab on the forum, I was about to hit refresh when I thought, either there will be more posts or the thread will have been exterminated - so I saved the page as a web archive before refreshing and sure enough, it was gone.

The thread linked to this post on Mother Damnable Returns blog:

The Fatal Flaws at 'The People's Voice'

It transpires that it was written by the woman who was named by Chris Spivey as the TPV assistant producer who contributed the other half of the conversation when he was bumped from being interviewed on a hitherto unknown TPV show. The blog post suggests that the show was the Mark Windows vehicle which was hastily introduced to replace Sonia Poulton Live!

At this point, I feel that I have to clarify that I have mixed feelings about Chris Spivey. I admire anybody who is dedicated to revealing the rot which underlies the establishment - and much more so somebody who does it without pursuing financial gain. But I also know that he is prone to lengthy foul-mouthed rants against anybody who just happens to be standing in the wrong place - so I half expect a tirade dedicated this opinion without any sense of irony. However, Chris Spivey was treated very rudely and unprofessionally by The People's Voice and he was gracious enough to acknowledge that it was not the assistant producer's fault but that there was something culturally very wrong with the organisation if that's how guests were treated.

The blog post expresses how the writer views the infestation of The People's Voice by media whores and how certain paid members of staff use their status to bully those they describe as 'gentle'. It exposes a very unhealthy sounding environment which embodies everything which, one must take as read, donors to The People's Voice assume it to stand against. It is actually quite disgusting to read but, if true, is very likely the signal that the end is very near unless there is radical change.

It is, however, quite significant that the writer of the blog remains loyal to David Icke believing that he has been let down by those leaping on the bandwagon which The People's Voice provided to a media industry which is vastly overpopulated - it is said that there are more media students than there are jobs in the media (not vacancies, jobs!).

In the article, the writer does not hold back from naming names. They say of producer Richard Rowland 'boasted to me how he had deliberately upset her by constantly changing her running order whilst she was live on air. He told me he had decided that  “she would be out of here before I am” on his first day, and that she didn’t "respect" him enough.'

And that referring to Jacqui Deevoy, Richsrd Rowling said, 'I’m fucking that tonight' but she didn't seem to mind.

Mark Windows 'stunk to high heaven, clearly never washed and wore the same clothes day after day...
...Difficult as Mark Windows is only interested in Mark Windows, but I persevered.'

Perhaps mostdisappointing for an alternative media outlet, there is an account of how a great stories were dropped and other guests left hanging, in one case at 4.00am because the people responsible are too disorganised an bad mannered.

Just out of curiosity, I thought I'd take a quick look at one of the people mentioned in the article.

Jacqui Deevoy appeared in a Daily Mail article whining that she could not afford to send her son to a private school. How awful! I can't really object to people sending their kids to private schools (they ought to be free to do what they want with their money) but please don't beg for sympathy - especially when some people struggle to even feed their kids. I'm not sure this falls within the parameters one might expect for a channel purporting to be champion of the people.

The shame when you can't pay the school fees: Mother reveals the heartbreak of having to remove her son from private education

She also wrote an article saying that she thought it was OK to spy on one's partner by reading the text messages on their phone - you should fit in well at TPV, then, Jacqui because the way things are going they will be introducing a macro-spy grid. What does David Icke call it? The totalitarian tiptoe and it starts with a single shuffle.

Is it ever ok to check your other half's text messages or emails?

Just to close, here is the URL to the disappeared thread on the David Icke Forum and a screen grab:

No Poetry Please! We're Loyal Servants of Adolf Ickeman

The Third RIcke on the David Icke Forum just took an anti-culture swipe at a forum member called giblet for speaking or, more precisely, typing in rhyme. The thread which contained the post has been exterminated and the author has been marched off to a death camp, the user's profile now says 'inactive' which is a David Icke Forum euphemism for banned; if the user tries to log in they will find that they cannot even read any posts let alone speak ill of Der Führer.

As can be seen from this URL, the post no longer exists:

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=266742

And if you are prepared to risk entering the Neo PolIcke State, here is giblet's remains:

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/member.php?u=80284

So, what did the wretched traitor write to deserve to be expunged? Fortunately, having had a premonition that they would pay the ultimate price, I copied it to my clipboard. I'm not a huge fan of poetry but occasionally I will hear or read something which resonates and before I even digested this, I felt there was something significant about it. And thankfully, giblet provided a short explanation to one of the less intellectually endowed forum members, as you will read.

I thank you, giblet, and I hope you do not object to be reproducing your work here, there is a link below to another page where you have published it. Here it is as it appeared on the David Icke Forum:

Advice Kid Your cards they are a tumbling and falling,
Pennies from heaven can not save you now,
For you destiny has come a calling,
Yet your demise seems a pity somehow.

But your days they have always been numbered,
Alongside all the steps that you would take,
To save each opportunity blundered,
Not just for your's but everyone's sake.

Your sheep are naked lost up on the moor,
Your dogs have been barking up the wrong tree,
One thing will remain forever for sure,
The simple fact that you never fooled me,

Though I smile as you take your final bow,
Your demise still seems a pity somehow.

So what's your point

giblet
The title is an anagram of David Icke.

Pennies from heaven refers to his constant begging for money from his followers who perceive him to be some kind of saviour.
Opportunites blundered refers to the fact that although he has made a hash of The People's Voice he could fix it through accepting responsibility and moving on instead of blaming those who haven't sent him money.
Sheep is his favourite way of describing people who fail to follow his preachings. They are naked because they have been fleeced.
Dogs refers to the moderators on his forum who are rabid in their blind defence of him.
And yes his demise is a shame considering the good he could have done.

Any Questions? The gentleman at the back with the turquoise shell suit... yes, you sir...

From today's headlines page on David Icke's website:

Do Schizophrenics Live in Parallel Universes?

Maybe that's a question which should have been asked a long time ago, David, only perhaps the other way around. Or maybe it's a subtle way of countering your clearly observable symptoms muxed with an opportunity to market the concepts within a book you have just published.

And on the subject of books, you regularly share an interesting observation with one of your headline graphics (slightly retouched below) which could easily be levelled at your congregation. Funny how the world of the reader illustrated (who, according to the caption, is only thinking what everyone else is thinking) occupies a world which he shares with a multi-tentacled creature, weird looking potions and what appears to be a plasma coated holgram.

This is the exemplification of DIF GroupThink, is it not?

The Widow's Mite: Techniques for Effective Extraction

I have borrowed words from somebody else's thoughts which pretty much summed up a great deal of what I had wanted say about the extremely questionable values which are being exhibited at and by The People's Voice, though I have added a bit afterwards. This was originally posted on EarthlingGB's blog:

David Icke: HELP! HELP! The Reigstad’s [sic] on fire!!

stephen said, on January 19, 2014 at 10:55 pm

I very rarely visit the DIF nowadays but after hearing David Trickers video i decided to pop over and i am utterly speechless.
They begin by blaming Russel Brand. Another poster actually seems to think Alice Rothschild should chip in.
We have someone else has been off work all week glued to tpv and is going to jack in his job after secret information revealed on tpv that his employers are breaching health and safety and is to donate his last £225 to tpv And is going to sell all his belongings and give to David Icke. ARE YOU ACTUALLY GOING TO ACCEPT THIS ICKE? IF YOU DO YOU ARE A WEASEL.
Someone else thinks he needs to go to Peru for a few weeks and take some ayahuasca. DEAR GOD!
Then we have someone bumped SKY tv in order to give the money to TPV. But that is impossible. You cannot bump sky. If you dont pay they switch you off, that simple.
Someone else felt so guilty they ordered an i love David Icke t-shirt with the last of her giro. Next weeks giro is going on the perception deception.
Someone else reckons he needs more vitamin B12.
Someone else thinks more donate buttons is what is needed.
Someone else thinks smoking some weed would be good for him.
Someone else thinks it is great that since Icke made this video donations have increased by £10k.
Another two posters begin panicking the world is about to come crashing down and it is all the faults of the 99.9% of people that have never heard of the illuminati.
Someone else advocates using MK ultra techniques to manipulate the sheeple away from msm. WHAT?
Someone else says donations are now upto £74k. That is a quick £20k.

Then we have a Russel Brand mass tweet campaign to give him dogs abuse and this is advocated by a forum advisor. I HOPE RUSSEL GOES TO THE POLICE!!

Someone else has a thread suggesting the Illuminati have a Toxic mole placed inside TPV.
Another guy wants the studio cctv’d with PC’S and phones rigged and that anyone not happy being stalked orwellian stye should be sacked. MY GOD YOU COULD NOT MAKE THIS UP.
http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1061947445&postcount=11
Someone else reckons the government are waging war against tpv.
Someone else reckons David has the cooperates running scared. Funny how it is not them i see running around screaming HEEEEEEEELP HEEEEEEELP GIVE ME MONEY WE ARE GONNA DIEEEEEEEEEEE.

So who is scared? is the one begging for help and donations the one needs helping and suffering fear or is it the one that does not ask for help nor feel the need to recieve help that is riddled by fear?

I personally think this is new-age evangelists and nothing more annoying and destructive than those try force help on those dont want it.
They attempt to instill fear where no fear is present in order to offer their solution which is not required by people with no fear.

On a slightly different angle but not unrelated to the dubious values displayed by The People's Voice, there has been a suggestion that TPV should implement electronic surveillance in their premises to keep an eye on the staff. It has also been suggested that TPV should only use self-employed people so that they don't have to contribute towards National Insurance or have to pay for sick leave or holiday pay.

If any of The People's Voice management are reading, here is somebody who has equipment which may be able to extract mites from widows more efficiently and a technique for sofa cash removal.

The People's Voice: A New Pearl Harbor [sic]

I'm not the only person to smell a rotting red herring regarding the latest wave of 'attacks' on everything linked to David Icke and TPV. I first suspected it in the first few weeks after The People's Voice started streaming - every time there was a technical hitch, or more likely, gross incompetence, the Corporal Jones figure of David Icke would start rabbiting about being under attack followed by the bleating of every other member of his flock; most of them parroting jargon which they probably did not remotely comprehend.

There were DDoS attacks, hacking and sabotage of the teleprompter. The very fact that they wer using a teleprompter whilst knocking the mainstream news media presenters for reading from scripts is just one of many sore thumbs which does not seem to have bothered those responsible for the running of TPV. Far from it being an alternative to the mainstream media, it has merely reflected it.

Then, just as it looked like The People's Voice was going to croak because those managing it had blown all the money and the ill-timed and over-ambitious telethon (just over a week after Christmas when most people are skint and asking for four times the initial target of the first appeal) was dying in the water, David Icke put out a video which most outside his claque would recognise as a transparent emotional blackmail. If people did not give more money, their grandchildren would suffer horrible painful death at the hands of the New World Order.

Now, apart from those busy fulfilling their roles as useless eaters, who would deny the threat of the New World Order or perhaps if it suits one's personal paradigm, an entity of some other name? That is not really moot here. But the self-portrait as the sobbing wounded saviour of humanity who has dedicated his life to spreading information - whilst conveniently not mentioning making a great deal of money from it and shutting down anybody who tried to share that information without him getting his whack.

This hysterical extortion was not enough, though. A day or so later, it was announced that there had been a fresh wave of attacks; all the videos on the YouTube account of The People's Voice had been deleted, the PayPal account had been hacked and the Indigogo appeal page had been defaced.

There hasn't been very much evidence of these attacks made public but it all seems a bit coincidental, convenient and not to say odd. Odd because from the perspective of most observers, the output of The People's Voice has been very poor, bland and benign - nothing like the hard hitting champion of the people which had been promised, though, to be completely fair, with one or two very notable exceptions.

So, why is there no evidence of any of this? And why are the TPV hackers the only hackers who do not parade all over the internet with evidence of their conquests; posting a screen grab of a defaced website is mandatory for a hacker. If, as I am sure David Icke would like everybody to believe, the hackers were government agents, would they not try to pass themselves off as some shady disparate  bunch of geeks? Surely, they wouldn't want anybody suggesting that agents of the Crown had tried to interfere with the operations of a legitimate OfCom licensed broadcasting company.

But there is a mole, apparently, a mole who has been identified and allowed to continue operating in their midst and who will be publicly revealed in the next two weeks. Now, I think anybody would agree that knowing about an infiltrator is a definite strategic advantage in the right circumstances but surely, when one is running amok causing (supposedly) a great deal of damage to an operation, where is the advantage? Having a phantom mole is just a convenient cover story for the self-inflicted injuries that David Icke and his confederates are using to garner sympathy.

It's pretty despicable for somebody to resort to the deceitful and oppressive tactics of which they accuse tyrants.

The People's Voice T-Shirt Ideas Which Were Rejected

I've just come out of a long meeting with executives at The People's Voice* having tried to persuade them to accept my T-shirt ideas but unfortunately they were outvoted by the Ché Icke baseball cap and the I Like Icke button badge. Still, if they change their minds, I'll post them here for their reconsideration.

Firstly, here is a design which is exclusivley for donors to The People's Voice.

Then we have a little reminder of how it all began.

Finally, my personal favourite, which has multi-layered subtlety. For anybody struggling with this one, there is an explanation hidden below.

*Not really.

This is the barcode from David Icke's book, '...and the truth shall set you free'.

The truth is that everything about David Icke reeks of hypocrisy from the barcode on his books which are sold on Amazon to his exhotion that everything including money is an illusuion to his extortion of hard cash from his followers with television evangelist style emotional blackmail. From his claims of giving the people an uncensored voice whilst his forum administrators and moderators weild Stalinist
powers deleting and banning dissent and his utter compliance with authority such as obtaining an OfCom license for TPV and paying his poll tax whilst advocating that people do not comply.

Did you ever wonder why nobody checks David Icke's work?

There is shit flying in all directions regarding The People's Voice and the not wholly inexpected departure of one of its stars - the factors involved were far too volatile for there to be peace and love.

But whilst the aroows rain down on both sides, it's reassuring that David Icke, with true goalkeeping discipline, has not taken his eye off the ball. He is maintaining a steady output of thoroughly researched articles for his site's headlines page. And there, in the midst of the news stories for today, 9th January 2014, is the following image:

You will notice that the caption asks, 'Did you ever wonder why "Latin" was removed from STATE schools?' It is not really clear why the word Latin is wrapped in quotation marks or indeed why the word STATE needs to be shouted. But anyway, the image then shows the coat of arms of the City of London or, more precisely, the City of London Corporation, as opposed to the actual city of London itself.

Anyway, that hors d'oeuvres of pedantry out of the way, on to the plat principal. The motto on the coat of arms reads, 'DOMINE DIRIGE NOS' and below the image is a list of suggested translations of the Latin motto which appear to assert that the motto means something about mistress or domination dividing or destroying us.

Well, the first word is not far from being a rough translation, it's actually the wrong gender as it translates as lord. However, the second word is misspeled in the list (right next to the word itself) and instead of being spelled dirige is spelled diripio and so any translation of this is irrelevant because it isn't even the right word.

Nos is corectly translated as us.

So, whilst this image tells those who will not bother to check (i.e. probably every devotee of David Icke) that the motto translates as something akin to mistress destroy us or tyranny divides us what it actually means is. lord guide us; a fact which can easily be verified with any online Latin translator if you don't happen to have a Latin scholar at hand. And if you can't find an online tranlator, there is always Google:

http://translate.google.com/#la/en/domine%20dirige%20nos

Such risible rubbish is standard fayre on David Icke's headlines page but also throughout his prolific canon which none of his disciples ever bother to check. This excellent piece by Martin Frost from five years ago must have escaped David Icke's attention otherwise he would have heeded its advice.

Finally, there is plenty of comment elsewhere on the current state of chaos at The People's Voice, without any need for my input, perhaps the most cogent of which is earthlinggb's blog here:

The People's Voice - a slight throat infection

It seems there may be laryngitis at The People’s Voice - all is not well.

Whilst I am critical of much of the way The People’s Voice operates, I generally think the idea is a good one - so good, in fact, that I had it myself in 2002 in the run up to the war on Iraq but learned that many people live in a ‘can’t be done’ paradigm. Thos same people tried to stand in my and other people’s way to stop us from taking other positive steps but failure was theirs.

There is a massive difference between standing in the way and trying to prevent something and offering constructive criticism - though, of course, constructive criticism may not be received as intended - especially if the recipient is as prickly as some. But when that constructive criticism is ignored and consequences unfold accordingly, it would only be with massive restraint or indifference that the constructive criticism did not turn negative.

From the outset, an from well beforehand as stated, I have thought that something along the lines of The People’s Voice was an excellent idea. However, having somebody like David Icke as its figurehead was a fundamental error. There is no way that David Icke is going to shake off the reptilian/hollow Moon albatross, the rotting carcass of which poisons the well of what is coyly called the ‘truth movement’. In fact, just in case the corpse has sunk into the sediment, David Icke will periodically stir it up again. Even most of the members of David Icke’s forum (who are, as will be shown later, completely ignored) do not believe in this stuff - so why does David Icke maintain it as the bedrock what he professes and, perhaps more importantly, why does he have so many followers who actually think that what he says is a load of bollocks? And if his they don’t actually believe what he professes, his lack of credibility beyond his following is a serious liability.

As far as The People’s Voice is concerned, it would appear that its days may be numbered unless it takes a radical tack to avoid the rocks. The  second ‘telethon’, which took place on the first Friday after the Christmas and New Year break when most people have either spent up or have got themselves in so much debt to satisfy the consumer needs with which they have conditioned their children and a mere week or so from what has become known as ‘Blue Monday’, the most depressing day of the year, raised just over £6,000 towards its 30 day target of £400,000. The current campaign is labelled as ‘flexible funding’, unlike the ‘fixed funding’ of the original campaign. It’s unclear how a campaign is nominated for flexible funding but essentially, it means that the funds are released at the end of the campaign whether or not the target is met - as things stand, it seems unlikely that £13,333 per day will be raised when only £6,000 has been raised in the 24 hours following the telethon.

So, what has gone wrong? Why does an internet based television station which had initially asked for £100,000 but received £300,000 suddenly found itself in urgent need for another £400,000? The answer to that may remain a mystery because despite the fact that the project was funded by donations, David Icke and his business partner, Sean Adl-Tabatabai, do not seem to think that the transparency which would be expected of any other entity dealing with public money is necessary.

Discrepancies in the scant figures have been revealed by those who have volunteered at the Wembley headquarters of The People’s Voice and no account has been made of what became of the £300,000 especially in light of the much celebrated studio equipment being acquired for a song, in relative terms:

David Icke: And the little question about approximately £270K of profit from donations

It is also apparent from many posts on the David Icke forum that the incentive gifts from the first telethon which began at the end of May 2013 have not yet materialised. Unfortunately, it looks like some of the money which they are hoping to raise now may have to be used to pay for the incentives which were promised eight months ago. This is the territory of absurd and the way that government budget is treated like a family paying their household bills with a credit card. National debt spirals off into the invisible distant future, to infinity and beyond.

Let us not forget, at this point, that David Icke professes that money is an illusion. Despite the fact that David Icke claims that everything is a hologram he does not offer an explanation why he needs money if everything, including money, is imaginary but the argument, which percolates via his acolytes, seems to be that we are living in the real world. This kind of inconsistency is what one might expect from a cult leader, surely, not somebody who claims to have the answers to release us from the shackles of our enslavement.

David Icke posts stories on his headlines page every day of the abject poverty in which many people are forced to live these days. If he were to venture into his own forum, he might notice that many of the people who post are amongst those who are struggling most of all. He seems to be asking them to give up their meagre income (even as little as a pound a month) so that he can build his vanity castle in the sky.

Since its launch, The People’s Voice has been riddled with problems, perhaps the most serious for a media company being dead air, long periods - sometimes hours on end - of blackness and silence or, if we were lucky, an endless graphic loop. The audio is often awful and mixed so badly that it is impossible to listen. There are self-promoting adverts which come on straight after low audio and practically rupture speakers. It has been suggested that these audio levels may even breach the OfCom regulations to which The People’s Voice controversially agreed by being licensed. But the main question here has to be, is nobody actually monitoring what is going out? It would be a massive oversight if nobody is because nobody seems to take a blind bit of notice what anybody outside the cl-ICKE says.

The best bit of unintentional self parody, by the way, was Gareth Icke’s shot to camera during one of the promotional videos saying, ‘…who needs rules? BLEEP rules!’

There is no tolerance of criticism - anybody who does air their feelings on the David Icke forum, for example, is castigated and put on the spot to justify themselves and say how much money they have donated or what they have done to support The People’s Voice. But there is a strong feeling that it is The People’s Voice in name only and that nobody who is not directly involved is heard.

The published schedule rarely bears any resemblance to what is actually broadcast - it would not be difficult for anybody with a very slight knowledge to edit a web page to reflect what had been lined up to be shown. The office looks full of computers which are surely all connected to the internet.

Threads on his website forum are abundant with posts from people who have offered their skills to The People’s Voice and have not received so much as an acknowledgement. The staff is furnished with people who were already connected in one way or another to David Icke or   Sean Adl-Tabatabai so it seems impossible for anybody with real technical knowledge, skills and experience to get their foot in the door.

There is a minor revolt on the David Icke forum about the continued inclusion in the schedule of the phoney psychic, Monica Sepulveda who has upset many people with her rudeness whilst demonstrating her ineptitude at even cold reading callers. As one forum poster pointed out, ‘she gave a reading for [a] guys dead dad. It turns out it was actually his brother that had died and she'd misheard, his dad was alive and well and sat next to him’. But as another has also claimed. ‘She's also a 'friend' of Icke's, so look likes she's staying.

Some of the programmes can be quite interesting and informative one minute and the next minute let somebody with significant questions to answer slip through their fingers - the perfect example of this being Richie Allen’s cosy chat with Edwina Currie of whom he failed to demand explanation the uninvestigated revelation in her autobiography that ‘…he’s what they call a “noted pederast”, with a liking for young boys. He admitted as much . . . when he became deputy chairman of the party but added: “However, I’m very discreet” — and he must be!’ going on to say that the then Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher was aware of his ways.

Other presenters can be very unconvincing. On her recent and highly acclaimed (by David Icke’s forum followers) visit to the anti-fracking demonstration at Barton Moss, Sonia Poulton started to say that the real agenda behind fracking was a mass depopulation programme. When she was asked (quite understandably and in a very friendly way - she was at an anti-fracking demonstration, after all) how depopulation, vaccination and GMO foods related to fracking, there was a moment of passive aggression when she said sarcastically and with a poignant hand gesture, ‘is this forty questions? because I don’t mind’. Unfortunately, she sounded like she was trying to recite something which might have been written by David Icke and stumbled around key words and phrases like ‘Agenda 21’ and ‘killing by stealth’  in a way which made it sound like she wanted to be seen to know what she was talking about without actually synthesising any of her own thoughts - possibly having to ween herself off the autocue. Sonia Poulton can be a good presenter when she is on her own territory but very often she looks out of her depth - especially when she is parroting David Icke. What does he repeat about repeaters.

Whilst it is very clear that the venture is being very poorly managed from the apex down, expect another very stern talking to from David Icke very soon to tell you that you are not providing enough money to keep The People’s Voice going and to be made to feel guilty that The People’s Voice may not continue for much longer. And as you are recoiling from every lash of David Icke’s tongue, take a little time to reflect on the way that the poor and underprivileged have been made to take the brunt for the government’s mismanagement of the economy and the crimes of those in institutions which are beyond reproach.

Doctor, Doctor Give Me The Psychic News

As the first week of the rolling advertisement for David Icke's latest book and forthcoming (October 2014) Wembley spectacular hobbles along from one amateurish presenter to another three minutes of dead air, lets look into the future, in a very psychic sense.

At 10.00pm on Fridays, The People's Voice will attempt to broadcast The Psychic Clinic, which it describes as follows:

The Psychic Clinic is a is a modern, informed take on all things psychic, spiritual and paranormal. Hosted by Vanessa Mitchell and Dr Donna Harris PhD plus 'Cosmic Kitchen' with Yasmin Boland and Jacqui Deevoy.

Whooo-oooh! Sounds serious, a programme about the paranormal presented by a real doctor. Let's find out more; what kind of doctor is she, surely not a GP, maybe a doctor of philosophy or psychology or something proper brainy.

Googling Dr Harris... Googling Dr Donna Harris...

Ah, here we go, first hit:

www.ghostsearchuk.co.uk

Not too promising, as a trainee web designer, I was always cautioned about uploading pages with UNDER CONSTRUCTION notices everywhere - especially when there is no evidence of any tradesmen having been near the place in months.

But what's this? Her first book, Dead Weird is available at:

www.donna-harris.co.uk

Well, why didn't you say?! At least this site was finished - some time in the 90s by the look of it. And there is a biography of Dr Donna Harris on the main page.

First of all, Dr Harris, one only places a full stop after an abbreviation if the last letter of the abbreviation differs from that of the word being abbreviated, so there is no full stop after Dr. Unless it is at the end of a sentence. Anyway, about that doctorate. Ah... here we go:

In December 2011 Donna was awarded a ‘Doctorate of Esoteric Science Degree’ by Dr Clark Schmidt from the Institute of Metaphysics and Psychic Sciences in Saint Petersburg. Dr C Schmidt put Donna’s name forward for the many years she has committed to the study of all things metaphysical and for her valued contribution to the gathering of such evidence.

There have only ever been three Full Diplomas’ awarded and we are proud to announce Donna now holds that third one..

Very impressive! A ‘Doctorate of Esoteric Science Degree’ by Dr Clark Schmidt from the Institute of Metaphysics and Psychic Sciences in Saint Petersburg. Well, there was some hugely groundbreaking work done on the paranormal in the former Soviet Union, there must be some very eminent scholars on the subject at the Institute of Metaphysics and Psychic Sciences; let's look for Dr Clark Schmidt.

Oh... that Saint Petersberg, the one in Florida. The one which doesn't even have a domain name and sits on a completely nondescript subdomain of a web host.

http://celestialvisionsschool.webs.com

But hey, that's the one. And on it, Dr Schmidtis very keen to tell us about his qualifications. On the bottom of his biography page is the following:

Questions have arisen about my qualifications and what field of study I am devoted to. Here is the answer.

A person can study the many aspects of Esoteric Metaphysics and still doesn't have all the answers to this diverse subject. For there are more questions than answers. As like the study of the cancer cell for example. The answer might come to the researcher, and just as soon as he/she publishes a paper, wham; something new crops up and the process begins again. This is like Esoterics, a person can study say, NDE, and can write a paper on this subject,, but that person might forget, that OBE can coincide with NDE, as well, as atral projection,.See where this is leading. As not, to go into in-depth detail, and to keep this short, my field of study is: ASTRAL PROJECTION, NDE, MAGICK, HEALING ENERGIES OF THE BODY (wrote a book on the subject),TALOS and LONG DISTANT HEALING, REINCARNATION, HOW TO OPEN UP TO PSYCHIC PHENOMENA, UFO ENCOUNTERS AND MIB. And still studying these subjects and their inter-relationship with one another. No one is an expert, only knowledgable as to what has been studied and learned. It is like Huxley, from his book,''The Doors of Perception', and there are many doors to wander through. I have been wandering through these doors for going on 54 years.

I hope that this answers the question that has been asked of me.

Er... no, actually, what about your qualifications. I thought you were going to clear up the questions which have arisen about them.

But anyway, here is a copy of the Diploma of Dr Donna Harris PhD - notice that there is a typo in the very first line, the very first word, the very first letter!

So much for Dr Donna Harris. Who else is presenting The Psychic Clinic? Ah, yes... Vanessa Mitchell.

When Googling, the first link to the Vanessa Mitchell in question is unfortunately behind a paywall on The Sun's website:

Mum and baby son forced out of their house by ghosts

Not much to see there apart from a photo of a very gloomy Vanessa Mitchell and an invitation to subscribe to The Sun. No, thanks, Rupert.

But here is a link to the same story on the tabloid train litter, Metro's website:

Brave mother runs ghost tours around her haunted home to make ends meet

Poor lamb! Though that article is a bit thin on detail from scouting around (see later in the post), it seems that Vanessa Mitchell was forced to charge people £25 to £35 per head to have a nosey around her house and betwen £230 and £300 per pop for folk with an investigative bent - just to pay her mortgage!

According to one investigator's website, The Sun had said:

Terrified Vanessa Mitchell, 37, told how weeks after moving in the spooks started: Sneakily HITTING her from behind, PULLING her hair and trying to SHOVE visitors down the stairs. They also invisibly MOVED objects around, RATTLED doorknobs and TURNED ON taps. Then they made BLOODSPOTS appear in the hall. The final straw was after she gave birth — and when son Jesse was four months old she saw a male apparition standing over his cot.

But no £230 to £300 investigations had found any evidence to support the claims.

The site, Hayley is a Ghost, goes on to illustrate that the so-called evidence put forward of blurry orbs and etherial bodies could very well have been faked - even in front of witnesses and provides a video showing how simple it is to fake such phenomena.

If memory serves me correctly, in the promorional video repeated ad nauseam on The People's Voice, Vanessa Mitchell says, 'open your eyes, open your mind'. Please do.

Cutting Edge Non-News on David Icke's Headlines

At 08.33 on the morning of 26th November 2013, the renowned hysterical rag, The Daily Mail, reported on its website that some Greeks were deliberately infecting themselves with HIV in order to claim specific financial benefits.

Desperate Greek citizens 'are intentionally infecting themselves with HIV' to qualify for state benefit which is set aside for addicts

The story cited a WHO report which, without any evidence, suggested that an unexplained rise in the number of HIV infections which coincides with the country's economic downtur could be caused by deliberate self infection. In the study of statistics, there is a distinction between cause and correlation and it is impossible to say that because two factors correlate that one causes the other. But even if the rise in HIV cases was in some way economically related, it does not even consider other possible socio-economic explanations.

However, by 13.42 the claims had been withdrawn stating that there was 'anecdotal evidence' that some new infections were self-inflicted to claim benefits, although the WHO has no evidence to support those anecdotes:

WHO retracts HIV self-injection claim

The sloppy logic of the suggestions in the original Daily Mail story aside, the story was posted on the David Icke forum at 16.54:

Greeks self-inject HIV to claim benefits

And subsequently, the repetition of the story in David Icke's Headlines the next day, 27th November 2013 at 04.15:

Desperate Greek citizens ‘are intentionally infecting themselves with HIV’ to qualify for state benefit which is set aside for addicts

This sorry story then linking back to the original Daily Mail article.

Not only is the Daily Mail one of the least reliable sources for any story but one which David Icke frequently counter-lambasts for their mockery of him. Why would anybody, especially at the launch of a new news bearing television station, rereport a story which does not stand up to the feeblest scrutiny? It wouldn't have anything to do with The People's Voice's recruitment of the Daily Mail freelancer, Sonia Poulton, would it?

But anybody who habitually bothers to check the sources and validity of stories will know that the reporting non-news and evidence-free stories is a regular feature of David Icke's headlines page.

Icke Censorship Gathers Pace - Careful What You Say!

A few weeks ago, thee were reports that travelers who made jokes about securitywould be arrested.

TSA Announcement Tells Travelers They'll Be Arrested If They Make Jokes About Security

Now censorchip on David Icke's forum has reached the point that it is now unlawful to quote 'conspiratainment', however that may be defined.

A post by David Icke forum member grannie27 was censored by moderator shanticat:

And both are also helping to expose what is happening ,I guess its WHAT you do with the information they give out ...
Sit back in comfort behind your computer screen, knowing you know what they know (the whole ethos behind controlled opposition)
or
Take action on the information ......and make a REAL CHANGE

Prior to the censorship, the thread had been discussing Russell Brand and Alex Jones and in particular, Jones' alleged pro-Israeli position. A post linking to a couple of anti-Jones videos was removed shortly beforehand:

David Icke Forum Rules Confound any Sense of Decency

I am not so naive as to believe that David Icke will actually read this but nonetheless, I will address this to him if only rhetorically. And I did not intend to find myself on a campaign against David Icke in the last few weeks before the lauch of his television station, The People's Voice (I actually hope that it is successful) but the hypocrisy of proclaiming oneself as an advocate of free speech whilst censoring on one's own website is untenable.

How can youpossibly justify the censoring of the words BitTorrent and, in the latest example, TorrentFreak which appear all over the internet on news sites, search engines, and online dictionaries when you allow comments which are clearly racist to go completely unchallenged by moderators and barely even challenged by other forum members?

Forum member 'gremlin' started a thread called, '6 MILLION bottles of Aussie wine down drain'. In their first post, they wrote (see screen capture below):

'This should be more of an outcry than 6 million jews being slaughtered imo.'

I'm not sure how such a comment could be regarded as being anything less than racist and offensive. Anybody who has any knowledge of David Icke's background will know that he has been on the receiving end of accusations of anti-Semitism and been associated with holocaust deniers though personally, I accept that he is not himself anti-Semitic nor a holocaust denier. Like many people (though notably, not the mainstream media) he is able to discriminate between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism but the comment cannot be defended in any way in these terms.

Yet, as can be seen from a thread started today, the subject of file sharing is prohibited.

Please, David Icke, explain yourself.

David Icke's Continuing Censorship Hypocrisy Augurs Badly for The People's Voice

Since the last post about the idiotic censorship on David Icke's website forum, another thread was started to discuss (one can only assume) some of the latest developments in the issue of BitTorrent and the ongoing legal battles surrounding the peer-to-peer file sharing protocol:

******* Resurrected Less Than Two Weeks After $110

But readers can only guess what the post is about because any mention of the subject matter has been censored and the post looks like a redacted CIA extraordinary rendition document. The only way to guess which BitTorrent sites are mentioned is by counting the asterisks and trying to match names to the number of censored letters.

UPDATE
As anybody following the above link will observe, the thread has undergone total censorship as it has been completely removed. However, the post can be seen in the below image.

With just over two weeks to the launch of the supposed uncensored television channel, The People's Voice, David Icke is looking like a bit of a pillock censoring words which appear all over the internet. Just how fearless is this new broadcasting venture going to be when the channel's front man is too scared to mention a word which appears in the Oxford English Dictionary and on the BBC website:

http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/BitTorrent

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19474829

David Icke, you really ought to pull yourself together and stop behaving like a dickhead; how can anybody take your claim of uncensored broadcasting seriously when your site's forum is full of racism, profanity and libel yet the word ********** is banned.

Grow the fuck up!

Don't Mention BitTorrent! At least not to David Icke

Just a month before the launch of David Icke's supposedly uncensored television channel, The People's Voice, a most ridiculous example of censorship has taken place on Icke's own website forum in keeping with earlier accounts.

The thread titled, ********** Bashes NSA In Billboard Campaign (now moved and locked) might lead readers to believe that some filthy mouthed poster had started this thread yet it transpires that the asterisks are there to obfuscate the word BitTorrent rather than a string of conventional expletives.

The forum's Technical Advisor claims that the reason is that Torrents contain copyrighted material but as pointed out by another forum user (and as anybody who has so much as glanced at The Pirate Bay saga) knows, this is absolute *******s, er... sorry, bollocks!

And even if there was some internet mandate which said that you cannot link to websites which contain torrent files (which there is not), the internet's own Big Brother, Google would be the greatest offender. But there is no law on this planet that says that you cannot write the word BitTorrent, if there was, all these 26,900,000 sites would be in breach of it:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=bittorrent

Note, that includes The Guardian, LA Times, Russia Today and Wikipedia. Google even hosts the official BitTorrent client for their Android operating system.

Perhaps the Technical Advisor on David Icke's website forum is talking out of his **** er... I mean arse! Maybe they are blatantly lying.

It is far more likely that the reason the subject of BitTorrent is such a prickly one for David Icke is that he has been known to have made threatening moves towards torrent sites which share his material and thus eat into his profits.

David Icke's self-righteous stance against censorship is a fucking joke! Sorry, a f*cking joke! He should be fucking embarr***ed. How often has the following image of a badge with the words, 'The Worst Part of Censorship is ****** ******' appeared on David Icke's headlines page?

It's impossible to estimate as it seems to appear every other day but here are some examples:

http://www.davidicke.com/headlines/42677-in-the-middle-of-europe-a-democracy-introduces-press-censorship/

http://www.davidicke.com/headlines/49042-in-further-case-of-censorship-the-bbc-deny-palestines-right-to-exist/

http://www.davidicke.com/headlines/81726-press-hits-back-over-chilling-media-crackdown-as-campaigners-warn-internet-sites-face-threat-to-free-speech/

http://www.davidicke.com/headlines/71289-bbc-caught-imposing-mass-comment-censorship-on-article-about-burma-abolishing-media-censorship/

As a slight aside, does David Icke ever stop asking for money? After having met the goal for his crowd funded television station in next to no time, the final amount raised was almost triple the original target, but even that didn't stop him as he's still begging for more and at a time when most people who are worst affected by those Icke points the finger at are struggling to choose between eating and heating. You might think that somebody who preaches that everything is an illusion (his latest money spinner which seems to head every page on his site is called The Perception Deception) might have the ability to transcend the need for ca$h.
